Smile Makeover Treatments

Enhance your smile with our range of cosmetic dental treatments, from porcelain veneers to professional whitening.

Porcelain Veneers (Laminates)
Ultra-thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of teeth to improve color, shape, and size. With proper care, veneers last 10–15 years. Treatment requires minimal tooth preparation and delivers dramatic results. Visit every 6 months for maintenance check-ups, and avoid biting hard objects to extend longevity.
Zirconia Crowns & Restorations
Zirconia (sometimes called "artificial diamond") provides exceptional strength and a natural appearance virtually indistinguishable from real teeth. Ideal for those wanting durable restorations with excellent aesthetics. Metal-free and biocompatible — perfect for patients with metal allergies. Typically lasts 10+ years with proper care.
Professional Teeth Whitening
In-office whitening treatment using professional-grade agents to safely remove stains and discoloration. Ideal for coffee, tea, wine, and tobacco staining. Results are visible in a single session. Maintain results by avoiding heavily pigmented foods for 48 hours after treatment and using whitening toothpaste.
Gum Contouring
Reshape uneven or excessive gum tissue to create a more balanced, symmetrical smile line. Recommended for "gummy smile" or asymmetric gums. Recovery takes about 1 week, with most patients returning to daily activities within 1–2 days. Eat soft foods during recovery.
White Spot Treatment
Minimally invasive treatment to eliminate white spots and discoloration on tooth surfaces, restoring a uniform, natural appearance without drilling or anesthesia.

Straighten Your Smile at Any Age

We treat all types of misalignment — protruding teeth, crowding, gaps, underbite, overbite, and open bite — using the right approach for your needs.

Is orthodontic treatment possible at any age?
Yes. While children's teeth move slightly faster, age does not make orthodontics impossible. For adults with irregular teeth making gum care difficult, orthodontics can create a better environment for oral hygiene management.
What types of braces are available?
We offer metal braces, ceramic braces, self-ligating braces, lingual (invisible) braces, and Invisalign clear aligners. Dr. Choi is an Invisalign-certified provider and will recommend the best option for your case.
How long does orthodontic treatment take?
Treatment duration depends on the complexity of your case. Partial correction may take 3–10 months, while comprehensive treatment typically takes 1.5–3 years. After initial bracket placement, monthly visits are required.
Does orthodontic treatment hurt?
You may feel soreness for 2–3 days after wire adjustments, but it quickly becomes comfortable. The process is very manageable for most patients.
Do I need to wear retainers afterward?
Yes — retainers are essential. Teeth naturally tend to return to their original positions, so wearing retainers as instructed preserves your results long-term.
Is tooth extraction always necessary?
Not always. Whether extraction is needed depends on your individual orthodontic diagnosis. Many cases can be treated without extraction.

Permanent Solutions for Missing Teeth

Replace missing teeth with stable, natural-looking implants that function just like your own teeth.

What is dental implant treatment?
A dental implant is an artificial tooth root (titanium post) surgically placed in the jawbone. After healing, a custom crown is attached on top. Implants provide a stable, permanent foundation that looks and functions like a natural tooth.
Who is a candidate for implants?
Anyone who has lost teeth due to extraction, accident, or periodontal disease. Patients with conditions like osteoporosis or diabetes may need additional evaluation, but most people are good candidates.
How long do implants last?
With proper care and regular dental check-ups, implants can last decades — often a lifetime. Consistent oral hygiene is the key to longevity.
Is the procedure painful?
The surgery is performed under local anesthesia, so you won't feel pain during the procedure. Some temporary soreness afterward can be managed with prescribed medication.
What types of implants do you offer?
We provide single-tooth implants (front and back teeth), full-mouth implant reconstruction, implant-supported dentures, and bone graft implants for patients with insufficient bone density.

Everyday Dental Care You Can Trust

From cavities to wisdom teeth, we handle all aspects of general dental care with a gentle, thorough approach.

Cavity Treatment (Resin, Inlay, Crown)
We treat cavities at every stage: small cavities with tooth-colored resin fillings (single visit), medium cavities with custom-made inlays, and large cavities or post-root-canal teeth with durable crowns. Materials include ceramic, zirconia, and gold options.
Wisdom Tooth Extraction
When wisdom teeth cause problems due to insufficient space or improper positioning, safe extraction prevents damage to surrounding teeth. We provide thorough pre-screening, proper anesthesia, and clear aftercare instructions. Recovery typically takes a few days to a few weeks.
Periodontal (Gum) Care
Comprehensive gum disease treatment including professional scaling, root planing, and ongoing maintenance. We also offer airflow cleaning — a gentler alternative to traditional scaling that's easier on sensitive teeth.
Root Canal Treatment
When decay reaches the tooth's nerve, root canal therapy removes infected tissue and saves the tooth. Dr. Choi completed the University of Pennsylvania's Endodontic Program, bringing specialized expertise to this treatment.

Relief for Jaw Pain & TMJ Disorders

Specialized diagnosis and treatment for temporomandibular joint disorders, with Dr. Choi's certified TMJ training.

What causes TMJ disorders?
Common causes include trauma, stress, teeth clenching/grinding (bruxism), internal joint problems, muscle and ligament inflammation, and arthritis. Poor posture and one-sided chewing habits can also contribute.
What are the symptoms?
Jaw pain, limited jaw movement, jaw misalignment, clicking or popping sounds, pain radiating to the neck/ears/shoulders, muscle fatigue, and headaches.
How is TMJ treated?
Treatment varies by type and severity. Options include lifestyle modifications, medication, physical therapy, custom splint (occlusal guard) therapy, and Botox injections. 80–90% of cases improve with conservative, non-surgical treatment.
What can I do at home?
Rest your jaw, apply warm compresses, do gentle stretching exercises, manage stress, and avoid overusing your jaw (hard foods, excessive gum chewing, wide yawning). Keep your lips together but teeth apart throughout the day.
